V-Safe valve covers for valve wheels of any size

Protecting against inadvertent or unauthorised operation of wheel-operated valves is simple with V-Safe valve covers from Castell Iso-Lok

These highly visible and effective devices secure the regulation of liquids and gases by completely enclosing valve handwheels, making operation impossible.

The V-Safe valve covers are made of an extremely tough and durable plastic, which has excellent dielectric properties, is non-cracking and is resistant to solvents and extreme temperature changes.

The valve covers come in four bright colours: red, yellow, green and blue.

Available in five sizes, they fit valve wheels from 70mm to 355mm in diameter.

The valve covers consist of two hinged half-moons, that completely enclose a valve handwheel, ensuring that essential valve operations can only be carried out by authorised personnel, and that potentially hazardous maintenance can be performed safely.

All but the two smallest sizes have a multi-hole padlocking facility.

When used as a maintenance lock-out up to three padlocks can be fitted at one time and valve operation can only be restored once all personnel have completed their work and removed their padlocks.

If more padlocks are required to be fitted, then a Castell Iso-Lok Multi-Clasp can be used.
