"We believe an association with a specialist fabrication house is the logical step to follow a timely and substantial business review of the Saunders brand," says Marcel Verhoeven, vice president of business development at CPFT.
"Having re-appraised our core competencies, we're confident Axium will bring enhanced capabilities and facilities in support of the HC4 range." Axium operates from a newly commissioned 10,000sqft facility that is designed to provide a clean and hygienic environment for the fabrication of high specification stainless steel components.
Axium welders hold ASME IX and BS EN287-1 coding, meeting accreditation specified by CPFT.
Axium managing director, David Houldsworth adds: "The demand for high specification welding we expect from CPFT allows us to dedicate our most experienced specialist teams to handle the Saunders HC4 work.".
