C-Cubed is expecting to make a big impact at MTEC 2008 with the launch of two new additions to its range of ultra rugged (IP67) Windows Pocket PC based handheld computers

The launch of the Nomad and the Ranger to sit alongside the well-established industry favourite Recon Pocket PC takes things to the next level in rugged fit-for-purpose portable computing The processing power of these Pocket PCs has to be seen to be believed and is fast catching up on laptop and desktop computers

In addition they are now available as truly rugged devices that can go places where you just can't take a laptop (e.g outdoors and wet processes) and they literally fit in your pocket!.

The C-Cubed IP67 Pocket PCs can survive total immersion and repeated drops onto concrete, rapidly making them industry standard platforms for data capture and process control.

The combination of these rugged Pocket PCs with Compact Flash data acquisition card, the Dataq-CF2, has seen C-Cubed very busy with the development a wide range of novel applications.

Some of these were demonstrated at MTEC, including PocketVibrA, its revolutionary condition monitoring system and PocketLab, the very latest in chemistry lab data acquisition and control.
