New RunSafe SiC dry run-tolerant bearing
CDR Pumps have developed an innovative 'RunSafe SiC' bearing concept, that has proved to offer even further extended life, even when pumps totally dry-run
The pumps are designed for low flow and high head applications such as chemical injection or CIP applications to mention a few.
The side channel impeller as they are sometimes called, offers almost no axial or radial loads on to the pump bearings, making the units ideal for a long trouble free life, and has the added bonus of being able to handle up to 20% air entrainment.
CDR Pumps have benefited from a number of new product lines and expansions over the last 18 months, and it cements our position as the leading manufacturer of magnetic drive pumps, and a serious contender for other chemical process pumps in the European markets that we serve, the turbine pump is a key product that we have been looking forward to having in our profile for many months".
