Self-priming pumps released for STN series
CDR Pumps has brought out a second generation magnetic drive self-priming pump for its STN series of mag-drive pump units.
The pumps achieve self priming capability with suction lifts up to six metres and are suited to applications such as sump emptying, tanker unloading, IBC unloading or processes involving high air content.
The units are manufactured from solid virgin polypropylene block and are heavy duty pumps that can handle any degree of chemical safely and with magnetic drive to avoid leakage.
Ashley Fenn, managing director of CDR, said: 'The majority of our customers have to have some kind of effluent treatment and tanker unloading facilities on site.
'There is a real need for a true chemical self priming pump on the market.
'The standard magnetic drive end also ensures that spares holdings are kept to an absolute minimum on site.'.
