Ceetak, a leading manufacturer of seal products, has launched an injection moulding service to help customers reduce costs of high volume components, improving both quality and delivery times
In particular, the latest Hifluor range of highly-fluorinated O-ring, gasket and moulded seals offer cost-effective solutions for aggressive environments.
The innovative Hifluor compound has been developed by introducing greater levels of fluorination to traditional fluorocarbon polymer chains, which improves the compression set while maintaining chemical stability.
Able to operate in temperatures ranging from -25C to +260C, the Hifluor range offers lower deformation at changing temperatures, providing a more consistent sealing force and reducing the possibility of leakage.
The Parofluor Ultra range of perfluoroelastomer standard and non-standard O-rings and custom engineered seals are suitable for use in conjunction with the most toxic chemicals, such as H2S, hydrocarbon and polar solvents.
Capable of withstanding temperatures of up to +320C, the Parofluor Ultra seals have also proven to be resistant to damage from explosive decompression.
Andrew Kowanacki, Technical Director at Ceetak, explains, "The continuing development of the petrochemical industry relies on bold construction initiatives undertaken in a challenging environment.
These have inspired enormous advances in the science and technology of offshore exploration and production and the latest Parker seals now provide industry-leading solutions in oilfield and downhole applications.".
