'Business improvement through quality: a Six Sigma approach' is the subject for a course (14th - 18th March 2005) at the University of Durham: registrations are now being accepted
The course is aimed at company staff working in marketing, production, accountancy, R and D or anyone who needs to make business decisions based on forecasts.
Due to the nature of the course, it would be helpful to attend the full course.
However, it is possible to attend the Monday session in combination with any other day(s), as the Tuesday to Friday deals with a different forecasting method.
Days 1: Introduction to Forecasting.
Days 2: Judgmental Forecasting Methods.
Days 3: Forecasting based on related data.
Days 4: Forecasting based on time-series.
Days 5: Forecasting behaviour of production and service systems.
To register for this course, to be held from 23rd - 27th May 2005, or to obtain details (without obligation) of other Short Industrial Courses run by CIAM, please visit our web site.
The cost for each course is GBP1200 (VAT exempt).
Our courses can also be combined into a Certificate/Diploma or Masters degree for anyone seeking a Personal Development Plan in Design, Manufacturing and Management.
