Leading industry specialists from the world of processing will be presenting their latest findings and solutions as part of The Chemical Engineering Show North 05 seminar programme

Leading industry specialists from the world of processing will be presenting their latest findings and solutions as part of The Chemical Engineering Show North 05 seminar programme Taking place from 16-17 November 2005 at the Yorkshire Event Centre, Harrogate, the seminar will address key issues faced by northern based manufacturers from the chemical, pharmaceutical and allied processing industries

Day 1: Papers include 'Meeting the Far Eastern challenge', the 'Hydrogen Economy', REACH, 'Process Performance Monitoring', 'COMAH and IPPC', 'Integrating Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma'.

Day 2: Presentations will focus on specific process innovations and subsequent efficiency gains by investigating the effectiveness of implementing new products and systems as highlighted through practical case studies.

The whole seminar will be held in conjunction with a two day trade exhibition which has already attracted over thirty suppliers offering a diverse range of products and services to the processing industries.

The list of exhibiting companies continues to grow with well known multinational names exhibiting alongside local and specialist SMEs.

Entry to the seminar and exhibition is free of charge to trade visitors but the organisers recommend early pre-registration due to the limited availability of delegate places.

On-line registration is now open by visiting the show website.

Andrew Furness, Event Director commented, "The format used will enable regional operations managers and engineers to gain maximum educational and practical value from their visit to the event.

By removing the financial costs, delegates can simply select to attend those presentations most relevant to their needs and combine this with time spent on the exhibit floor, updating themselves on a wide range of innovative technologies, systems and services.

This meets our objectives of delivering a high quality regional event which is convenient, focused and offers great value".

Reflecting the growing support for this timely launch, the organiser believes this will be the most comprehensive event of its kind to be held in the region this year.

The Chemical Engineering Show North 05 will take place from 16-17 November 2005 at the YEC Harrogate and is supported by Yorkshire Forward.
