The Greerco high shear mixer from Chemineer can provide reverse flow capacity in applications requiring up to 37.5KW - twice the capacity offered by most other companies.

Designed to achieve a high pumping rate for fast blending and homogenising of materials, including low viscosity hydrating of dry powders, the Chemineer Greerco range of in-tank homogenisers can also address applications with aeration problems.

When used in reverse flow mode, the Chemineer High Shear Greerco mixer changes the flow pattern within the tank to ensure that unrefined ingredients are continuously drawn from the bottom of the mixing vessel and forced to pass through restricted openings between the rotor and the stator.

This action subjects the mixture to intense mechanical and hydraulic forces so that solids are very rapidly and uniformly dispersed.

Used frequently in applications where standard agitation technology fails to provide the desired process result, the Chemineer High Shear Greerco Homogenisers can also be custom-built.

This includes options for designs which enable the mixer to be installed at the bottom or side of the tank, away from any existing scrapers or mixing equipment.
