CBA seminar to tackle Reach responsibilities
The Chemical Business Association (CBA) has developed a seminar entitled 'Reach Authorisation and Enforcement' planned for 21 May 2009 at BASF, Cheadle Hulme, Manchester.
As companies are now engaged in the serious process of considering the extent of their responsibilities under Reach, the data requirements and the ultimate enforcement of the regulation, CBA has developed the one-day workshop to address these questions.
The day will begin by looking at the process of enforcement, moving on to cover exposure scenarios, why businesses need them, how to generate them, what to do with them, and ultimately the authorisation process.
Speakers will include Richard Bishop, HSE Reach team; Tony Newbould, AJN Solutions; Peter Haynes, Reach Facilitation Company; Louise Howarth, Eversheds LLP; and Douglas Leech, CBA.
