World's most advanced chemistry website launched
How to gain access to new markets, new process and product technologies and additional resources faster than your competitors? Use the new Chemistry Innovation Knowledge Transfer Network!
The new Chemistry Innovation Knowledge Transfer Network is a unique, independent UK organisation which enables you to access the UK's capability in leading edge chemistry, engineering and manufacturing from a single source.
The UK has long been admired for its research and invention in science and technology.
Now the Chemistry Innovation KTN builds an effective bridge to its successful industrial exploitation.
Industry will benefit from better links to the supply chain and the academic knowledge base, and early access to emerging technologies.
For the first time some of the world's most advanced software tools such as Autonomy for web crawling, Interwise for webinars and Vignette for content management and collaborative working, have been forged together to create a unique website.
The new Chemistry Innovation site will provide the most sophisticated, intelligent environment for the UK chemistry using industries to find the latest information on a vast range of technologies from which they can benefit, access to leading experts and centres, opportunities for funding, new partnerships, e-learning and training, roadmaps and government policy developments.
Contact us to register for the on-line launch of the website on 5 June 06 by Carol Boyer Spooner at 1600 GMT.
If you would like to know more about how CIKTN can impact your business or leverage your technical and market capability, contact us in Hall 1.2 at Booth A17 in ACHEMA.
Knowledge Transfer Networks are an integral part of the UK's Technology Programme, supported by the UK's Department of Trade and Industry.
Chemistry Innovation KTN is hosted by the Royal Society of Chemistry and incorporates leading centres and collaborative organisations.
