James McCusker, the Manufacturing Manager at Almac, comments: "The SP200 is ideally suited to the low to medium-scale batch size requirements for clinical trial materials.
Our experience with it has shown the sorter to be highly accurate, robust in operation and totally reliable.
Furthermore, the sorting speed and short set-up times, together with the ease of use and intuitive software, have enabled us to improve our lead times".
Not only has the Sade SP200 performed faultlessly, but James McCusker is also impressed with the service received from CI Electronics, saying: "The sorter is critical to us meeting our deadlines, so we need to be sure that it is properly supported - and CI Electronics has certainly provided excellent after-sales service and technical support".
Almac weigh sort a range of capsules between 200-800mg and depending on the batch size being processed, the sorter is often used over a full 24 hour period, left unattended to run overnight.
