Circor Instrumentation is helping to ensure maximum system safety with the Hoke 'Gyrogage' tool, introduced as an invaluable accessory in the Gyrolok instrumentation tubing range.

Several major companies and organisations recognise that incorrect insertion depth is the number one cause of tube fitting failure.

The easy-to-use Gyrogage includes a missing ferrule indicator confirming that all components are in place and a tube marking tool ensures that tubing is properly inserted into the fitting and correctly tightened.

This device enables both the installer and the inspector to ensure that a fitting has been correctly installed by highlighting practically all common fitting installation errors.

Alternate methods of marking the tube are available on the one device.

Data has shown typical assembly errors include incorrect tightening of hard-to-reach fitting nuts, failure to fully insert tubing due to improper ferrule set caused by burrs or short tube length after a bend and missing ferrules when one taken from a fitting in inventory has not been replaced.

The Hoke Gyrogage addresses all these concerns.
