Citect targets European and Middle East
markets
Citect is aiming to further its growth in European and Middle Eastern markets with the appointment of Thomas Hinninger as General Manager for those regions
An industry professional with many years of experience in the industrial automation and real-time intelligence markets, Thomas was formerly with GE Fanuc for eleven years, where he became Regional Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland Prior to his time with GE Fanuc, Thomas has a proven track record in the SCADA market with the (former) Intellution , which became part of GE Fanuc in 2003

At Intellution he was a Channel Manager, and then Sales Manager for Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Thomas, who is 44 years old, started his career as an application engineer at Siemens, working for the power industry division in hardware and software applications.
In 1989 he joined ABB as a Project Engineer for the pulp and paper group and became the Engineering and Commissioning Manager in 1992: he led the ABB Project Group successfully for four years.
