Partnership with Weidmuller for System Integration
Control Dynamics International has announced a strategic alliance with Weidmuller to increase their already strong presence in the US energy markets
Control Dynamics International (CDI) has announced a strategic alliance with Weidmuller through their System Integration (SI) Programme.
Weidmuller provides solutions for the transmission of power, signals and data in industrial environments, developing, producing and selling electromechanical connection technology, switching cabinet electronics and network infrastructure components.
CDI designs, manufactures, and implements industrial automation systems for the energy industry, and both companies seek to increase their already strong presence in the US energy markets through this alliance.
"Weidmuller is very selective when it comes to integration partners" said Randy Bagley, Houston Regional Sales Manager with Weidmuller: "We seek SI partners that have proven capabilities and offer total solutions that include engineering and manufacturing.
The strong presence of CDI in the energy business, their oil and gas domain expertise and ability to provide both engineering and manufacturing services makes them an excellent candidate for the Weidmuller SI programme".
"Weidmuller possesses the breadth of high quality, reliable connection products required for the energy industry", said Van Wilson, President of CDI: "Their technology complements the CDI ISO 9001:2000 quality assurance process, while providing us a greater selection of equipment options.
Our participation in the Weidmuller SI programme is a win for both companies and our respective customers".
Francis Leynaert, owner of Texas Technical Products and the Houston area representative for Weidmuller, helped to arrange the agreement.
"CDI is a great complement to the Weidmuller SI programme", said Mr Leynaert: "Our customers are afforded high quality, turn-key industrial automation solutions through this agreement".
Control Dynamics International was founded in 1991 in Houston, Texas, and has grown to be a recognized industry leader in designing and implementing some of the largest, most advanced control solutions for all segments of the hydrocarbon supply chain; upstream, midstream and downstream.
CDI has completed over 1000 process control projects worldwide, including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and Hybrid Distributed Control Systems.
CDI employs certified Professional Engineers and Project Management Professionals, degreed in electrical engineering, computer science and chemical engineering.
As an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, the CDI project methodology encompasses all project phases, including design, life-cycle cost analysis, systems and equipment selection, software development, quality control procedures, and supporting business processes.
These rigorous processes and procedures help to assure that projects are on-time, on-budget, and meet the high reliability requirements of the energy industry.
