There is a detachable Conical Filler to allow the sample to be loaded into the vial without the risk of contaminating the outside of the tube, and the subsequent embarrassing problems caused by bonding the sample tube to the temperature jacket.
The range also includes smaller-profile vials for use where small samples need to be tested.
The T2SR Rheometer has been designed to be an easy-to-use instrument for measuring the changes in viscoelastic properties as materials change temperature or as that cure, set or gel.
The test probes and sample containers are disposable, and no harm is done to the machine if the sample sets solid.
The instrument can work with small sample volumes up to very large samples, and is very useful if the flow properties of multi-phase materials, eg containing filler particles, need to be measured.
The T2SR is calibrated in true rheological units, and will determine the viscous and elastic behaviour of materials over a wide range (from 10Pa.s to 10,000 Pa.s as standard).
A separate thermocouple probe measures the true sample temperature, and is useful for detecting exothermic reactions as cure proceeds.
Temperature conditioning modules are available to permit testing from sub-ambient to +400C.
The system is designed on a modular basis so that users may select the configuration which best suits their needs. Request a free brochure from Celsum Technologies ...
