The IOLAN DS1 features next generation support (IPV6), so that when you upgrade your system you will not need to upgrade your Device Server.
The interface can be easily selected through the supplied DeviceManager software, effectively eradicating the need for any intervention by the user.
The DS1 is compact, can be wall or desk mounted and has DIN rail mount option, making it ideal for industrial as well as commercial and domestic applications.
The Perle limited lifetime warranty is included with every unit, as is protection against electrostatic discharges and power surges in the form of the 15kV ESD protection circuitry.
The IOLAN DS1 is fitted with a 25-pin DB25M serial connector and a 10/100 RJ45 socket for the network connection, and will support IPV6, IPV4, TCP/IP, CIDR, ARP, RARP, UDP, UDP Multicast, ICMP, BOOTP, DHCP, TFTP, Telnet, Raw, Reverse Telnet, RCP, and HTTP protocols.
