The LE-5600 warm air destratifier has a 1400 mm 'wind span' which when installed at a height of 6 metres will deliver an area of 350m2 and can also be used at a maximum installed height of 14 metres.
'Judging by the increase in enquiries via our web site for these punka fans I think word must have got out just how cheap and effective they are!' says Commercial Director, Richard Pachucki.
Heat recovery and re-circulation of heated air to the lower levels (destratification) is an obvious gain in installing these fans.
However, moisture and humidity problems caused through temperature differentials between floor and ceiling levels can also be remedied relatively simply using destratification.
The fans effectively redistribute the warmer air that collects at the upper levels back down to where it is needed.
The powerful but quiet centrifugal fan is used to take the heated air in the roof void and re-direct it back down to ground level.
The resulting mixture of air leads to a more stable relative humidity and temperature throughout the building.
When used as an integral part of, or added to, a heating system, the energy cost savings can be substantial - potentially 30%.
A speed regulator is also available, which will run 2 fans.
