The new Optopus DEC is an electronic miniature coded and non-contact safety switch designed to protect the doors and crankcases of dangerous machines.

The new Optopus DEC is an electronic miniature coded and non-contact safety switch designed to protect the doors and crankcases of dangerous machines Its small size is especially adapted to the protection of small access areas, such as trap doors or manholes for example

This switch can be easily hidden behind door frames to protect the design of the machine.

The Optopus DEC, in a polycarbonate housing available with 3,6 or 12 meters UL cable, has 2 solid-state lines and an additional auxiliary line for the automation control or lights.

It has been designed to replace any mechanical or magnetic switches (with reed contacts).

Connected to an AWAX safety module, it reaches the safety category 4 according to EN954-1.

You can connect up to 30 switches in series with only one module (category 3)! This is the most economical solution if you have several accesses to be protected! The Optopus DEC uses the entirely electronic process known as ACOTOM.

This unique system is an electronic decoding system which guarantees real fraud protection.

The mounting and the adjustment are easy thanks to the integrated mounting bracket.

Its design allows an easy cleaning and perfect waterproofness (IP67).

There is an authorised misalignment in all axis and the tolerance is constant Our switches are suitable for all kind of industries (food industry, automotive, pharmaceutical, cosmetics).
