The company, which is a business unit of North American based Premier Tech, is launching two new product ranges at the Total Exhibition.

Visitors to the stand will be able to see a working version of the ingenious Bottom-up Filling Weigher (BFW), which has been specifically designed for bagging difficult-to-handle mealy and powdery materials.

During the filling process the product is discharged via a feeding screw, which is maintained just above the filling level by synchronously lowering the bag.

This minimises dust generation and avoids unwanted contamination.

The BFW can be combined with the Chronofill PBS bagging line, FFS Technology or as a stand alone unit.

On display along side the BFW will be the new Chrono-Tronic Bulk 9 weighing and recording system.

Its design reflects the latest technology in weighing control for the shipping and receiving of bulk materials, including fertilizer, plastics, feed, food, grain, milk powder and flour.

High reliability and optimum weighing performance ensure the system meets the most stringent accuracy classes for automatic weighing according to OIML Recommendation R107.

Chronos Richardson personnel will be available to discuss complete packaging solutions based around their comprehensive product portfolio, which includes: FIBC fillers, form-fill-seal, valve and tubular bagging equipment, high speed bagging lines, bag placers and sealers, palletisers, weighers, weigh feeders and blenders, bulk throughput weighers, the Richard Simon product line and mobile bagging units for use at ports and terminals.

Visitors can also obtain information on Premier Tech Chronos equipment, including volumetric feeders, balers and complete blending lines, which have been specifically designed for packaging and processing organic materials such as growing media, animal feed and bedding.
