The SpeedAC NXT weighing controller is an advanced controller that provides operator control of precision bag filling across the Chronos Richardson bagging weigher portfolio

With an integral user-friendly graphical interface the SpeedAC NXT provides a range of weighing data and performance statistics and can be utilised to fine-tune the performance of bagging operations SpeedAC NXT provides high precision weighing with dynamic weighment accuracies, which conform to OIML R61; and static accuracies that comply with class III as per OIML R76 or EN45501

A further enhancement to SpeedAC NXT has just been secured with the controller being awarded the Measuring Instrument Directive (MID) certificate.

This internationally recognised certificate is accepted by 32 countries for a period of 10 years.

These countries include: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

Current features included with the SpeedAC NXT are as follows:.

* A password protected audit trail function that allows Chronos Richardson technicians to download user programmes without affecting the seal Approval: this allows the user programme to be simply upgraded without affecting the controller approval.

* Enhanced feeder options are now incorporated in the certificate including: High Speed Gravity Feeder (GHS), High Speed Gravity Feeder with Agitator (AHS) and High Speed Belt Feeder (BHS).

* RS232, RS485, Analogue output, 24 channel digital I/O and Profibus DP interfaces are approved.

End-users in the countries covered by the MID certificate are already starting to realise the benefits of this controller on their bagging lines.
