R Twining and Co in Andover has selected Chronos Richardson equipment for their new packing facility, using a vibratory fed Automatic E55 bagging weigher with a SpeedAC NXT weighing controller
In keeping with its proven history of innovation and achievement, Chronos Richardson continues to remain leader in the field of weighing technology, and will present a new high-capacity bagging weigher with an output of up to 2,000 weighments per hour at Interpack 2008.

Each of the new items of weighing equipment is designed to comply with the latest stringent hygienic requirements of the process industries.
A special success story from Chronos Richardson during the past twelve months is the RP1200 robot palletiser that was introduced last year.
This high-capacity system with patented gripper technology offers the optimised formation of palletised layers, has already gained a strong foothold in the market.
Chronos Richardson was recently able to book orders from the Trouw Nutrition Group.
This includes: a complete bagging line with palletising equipment for supply to a location in Germany; another bagging line with palletising equipment, was recently delivered to a location in Belgium.
Each of these systems is supported by the efficient, customer-orientated Chronos Richardson service and spares supply.
Post-delivery the machinery is backed by on-site installation and commissioning of the equipment as an element of a dedicated after sales service ranging from preventative maintenance to remote diagnosis via telephone.
As part of a revised corporate strategy Chronos Richardson recently relocated to new premises in the Nottingham area.
This move was to a more modern industrial complex approximately four miles from their original site, with facilities for sales, manufacturing, customer services, spare parts and equipment upgrades.
The new facility is ideally situated close to several major trunk roads, including the M1, which will ensure rapid access to the transport network.
This will help the company optimise service response times and improve its manufacturing efficiency.
