Chronos Richardson will supply Planters Clayton with three new weighers for the expansion of a rubber crumb production plant in Europe, continuing a long standing supply relationship

Reliable operation and precision in weighing have been the hallmark of thousands of the Chronos Richardson E55 installations for over twenty seven years.

The simple uncluttered design has made the E55 the first choice weigher for process industries around the world.

Leading baling press manufacturer Planters Clayton had a special requirement for a robust system to weigh precision batches of rubber crumb into their high capacity balers.

Back in 1985 they recognized the precision and reliability of the E55 design, and encouraged Chronos to build the special EE39 version to meet their exacting requirements.

The EE39 features a robust reliable design for trouble free operation, reduced downtime and lower maintenance costs.

The innovative weigh hopper design on the EE39 provides clean rapid discharge of the warm rubber crumb.

The current EE39 projects with Planter Clayton utilise the new SpeedAC NXT controllers for enhanced operating accuracy for every weighment and compliance with the most stringent international regulatory weighing requirements.

Chronos support Planters Clayton through their international network of sister companies and agents: EE39s are simple to install and calibrate, providing heavy duty weighing cycles batch after batch.

There are installations operating successfully in the Planters Clayton operations in the UK, Europe, Russia, China and India.

"Planters Clayton specialise in supplying baling presses for the synthetic rubber industry.

These units have been supplied to the world's leading producers and many installations incorporate a Chronos EE39 weigher linked to the baler and feed system to provide an accurate batch of material.

The EE39 weigher and dedicated electronic controller enable a difficult product to be handled and delivered with a high level of accuracy every time.

Following discussions between engineers at our two companies for this latest order we have incorporated a central control facility, with an integrated weighing module for enhanced operator input of operating parameters".
