ATEX approved, the new Contrec 500 EExd series includes flow computers for fiscal gas and oil transfer; flow computers for steam and energy; batch controllers; ratio blending and flow control; and contents indicators for non-linear tanks.

The flexible 500 Series platform provides for frequency, analogue and logic inputs; RS232, RS485 and Infrared communications; Modbus RTU; and up to four fully assignable relays for alarm or control.

The advanced features include two 4 - 20 mA outputs, a real time clock and data-logging.

Each 500 Series instrument and manual is supplied tailored to the specific application making installation and operation extremely simple and easy with no bulky manuals to work through.

Using a radio modem, communications can be transmitted up to 2 kilometres.

The 500 Series is also available for safe areas in either panel mounting or in IP65 field mounting enclosures.
