Complete service to specify process automation
ControlDraw is now offering project managers a complete service to produce specifications for the process automation of a project, which can provide significant project benefits
ControlDraw is used by the system integration, engineering and process industries for the production of detailed model based specifications for User Requirements, Functional Requirements, Software Design and System Testing.
The product is designed for S88 batch, continuous and discrete processes.
The models can include diagrams for all aspects of a project, including process graphics, loop diagrams, sequential function charts, interlock logic and many more.
The database can be used for all the IO lists, process parameters, operator messages, alarm settings etc The associated print and review programme is free so that users can view, print and mark up the models without having to have the full programme.
As the programme has been used largely on highly regulated processes, it has extensive built in version management facilities.
ControlDraw has been in use since the first release in 1995.
ControlDraw2, (first released in 1999 and improved in subsequent minor releases) has been used for the design of many large and small applications, many of them pharmaceutical.
Version 3 adds new functionality and improved graphics whilst retaining compatibility with the previous release.
ControlDraw has commenced supplying the new release to new and existing customers under their maintenance contracts.
