ControlDraw Reviewer available as free upgrade
ControlDraw is a process automation modelling system, designed for Process Control Engineers in the system integration, engineering and process industries
Among the newer features are improved state matrices, simpler but more powerful simulation and more extensive help and example models.
With ControlDraw you can:.
* Draw diagrams by dragging and dropping symbols and connecting them together.
Note that these diagrams can be rich in data, so that they are meaningful, not just pictures.
* Build Models - hierarchically linked diagrams, which you can 'drill down' from a high level overview to the smallest level of detail.
* Interactively build state matrix tables to define the dynamic behaviour of objects in your model, for example S88 Equipment Modules.
* Draw a diagram once and then create multiple instances of the data associated with the diagram.
* Create Polymorphic Diagrams so one diagram can cover several similar but different systems.
* Use Dynamic Simulation to illustrate and test your model.
* Build libraries of re-usable modules.
* Store everything your project needs in a database that is tightly integrated with the diagrams.
* Keep a precise record of all changes as you develop the model through the Version Controls.
* With free associated Print and Review software you can explore the models, run the simulations, produce details reports with graphical comparisons between versions and even generate detailed test documentation.
ControlDraw also provides training and consulting services to support users.
Additional tools can be provided to link into the actual control system to accelerate the programming and testing of systems designed with ControlDraw.

ControlDraw has also developed a new website specialising in the support of the community of engineers who write Requirements Specifications for Process Control Systems.
