Colder Products Company (CPC), the leading provider of controlled performance connections to chemical, medical, and industrial markets, announces the global launch of its ABS Twin Tube The ABS Twin Tube is an economical, high-performance single quick connection device for two distinct fluid or air lines

The panel mount design makes the ABS Twin Tube applicable for use in patient monitoring equipment, pneumatic control circuits, ink jet printing and a wide range of applications.

'The ABS Twin Tube is a significant addition to our series of multiple line couplings," said Carolyn Franceschi, Medical Business Unit Manager, CPC.

"By utilising a different material and optimising the product design, we can now offer our customers a highly versatile product at a competitive price".

Manufactured with injection-moulded ABS, a durable and rigid thermoplastic, the new Twin Tube offers good chemical resistance and dimensional stability.

It withstands disinfection with ethyl alcohol and sterilisation by E-Beam and Gamma Irradiation.

The CPC Twin Tube coupling offers quick and easy operations with no orientation required for proper connection.

The free rotation of the coupling body and insert eliminates kinked tubing.

The new coupling features the exclusive Colder Products thumb latch for a quick, one-handed disconnection of two lines with an audible "click" confirming a secure connection.

Operating pressures range from vacuum to a maximum of 120 psi, 8.3 bar per line, and operating temperatures range from -40F to 180F at 60 psi, 4.14 bar (-40C to 82C at 60 psi, 4.14 bar).

Terminations include hose barbs that fit one eighth of an inch ID tubing.

Seal materials include Buna-N, EPDM and others upon request.
