The THORpac series is available from entry level, low power 600MHz-1GHz P3 to 2.6GHz P4 with selection of memory and hard drive capacities to provide all the computing power one might need to suit the application and budget.
It is equipped with all standard PC interfaces including LAN, USB, Serial and Parallel whilst catering for expansion to incorporate additional optional PC/Notebook mobile functionality such as wireless LAN and GSM/GPRS.
The THORpac provides a rich selection of expansion options to accommodate the wide variety of instrumentation needed in today's diverse and complex applications.
This includes 1 to 3 full length PCI plug in card slots, 43HP of 3U Eurorack panels as well as a cabling service hatch to accommodate any modular custom electronics.
Captec designers have been mindful that not all users needs are alike, the service hatches enable total application customisation for the diversity of broadcasting, security, diagnostics or test and measurement field applications.
