By adding the DMB51CW24 to its existing DMB51CM24 timers for 24VDC and 24-240VAC power supplies, Carlo Gavazzi claims the widest range of mini-D timers on the market.
Mode and time duration settings are easily controlled using front-mounted knobs.
The available timer modes are delay-on-operate, interval, interval-on-trigger open, double-interval, delay-on-release, symmetrical recycler ON-first, and symmetrical recycler OFF-first.
Two further knobs control time settings, from 0.1 seconds to 100 hours.
Front-panel LEDs indicate power supply and relay status, with a flashing display while timing.
Accurate timing is achieved through precision time setting to within 5%, and less than 0.05% per volt timing variation within the rated power supply.
Timing variation with temperature is also very low, at less than 0.2% per degree C.
Carlo Gavazzi DMB51-series timers have 8A SPDT relay outputs, and can be configured for automatic or manual start.
All are mounted in the compact 17.5mm wide DIN-rail package, with convenient front panel controls and status LEDs.
All DMB51-series members also pass EN60529 for environmental robustness, including IP20 ingress protection and IEC60664 level 2 pollution immunity.
The operating temperature range for all series members is -20 degrees C to +60 degrees C, and relative humidity 95%.
This range also complements the Carlo Gavazzi range of single function timers, including the DAA51 delay on operate, DBA52 delay on release, DBB51 true delay on release, DAC51 start-delta, and DCB51 symmetrical recycler.
A PC programmable timer, DHA51, also supports custom applications or special functions.
All timers in the series carry CE, UL and CSA approvals, and meet the EMC standards EN 61000-6-2 for immunity and EN 50081-1 for emissions.
