Shadow Attorney General Dominic Grieve recently hailed Britain's revolutionary Curvaceous Software for its place at the 'cutting edge of technological innovation' in the House of Commons

The Shadow Attorney General, Dominic Grieve, recently hailed Britain's revolutionary Curvaceous Software for its place at the 'cutting edge of technological innovation' in the House of Commons Curvaceous, who produce computer software to achieve quantum jumps in the control and operation of sophisticated chemical process plant operations, is now "at the cutting edge of technological innovation of immense potential for industry," said Mr Grieve at the Commons reception held to launch an improved version of the award winning technology

This year Curvaceous has won the Chemical Industries' Association 'Innovator of the Year' award and the Innovation Award for Manufacturing from the Institution of Engineering and Technology to add to its already impressive list of awards from previous years.

Founded by Dr Robin Brooks in 1998, Curvaceous uses n-dimensional geometry, rather than algebraic or differential equations, to work out new approaches to the data collection and the management of industrial processes and sites.

Dr Brooks says that as the needs for complex mathematics is avoided, many more people can create the geometric models in a fraction of the time and at less cost than other methods and get process improvements that were previously unobtainable.

"The main function is to reduce the variability in the operation of process plants worldwide.

The consequences are reduced operating costs, manifested in reduced energy usage, reduced emissions, less waste and improved output," he said.

Curvaceous used the House of Commons to introduce the Curvaceous Visual Explorer 2.4 version, the fourth evolution it has developed in six years.

This version makes it simpler and faster to assemble and use data from different sources.

Mr Grieve, the Conservative MP for Gerrards Cross, home of Curvaceous Software, hosted the reception and unveiling of this new development in the House of Commons on October 26, 2006. Request free introductory details about products from Curvaceous Software ...
