Cyco Software expands in Central and South America

Cyco Software has signed agreements to form strategic alliances with IT Consol, the largest MRO reseller in Central America, and Synapsis, one of the largest IT providers in South America

Cyco Software, a leading global software company offering Engineering Data Management (EDM) solutions, announces that it has signed agreements to form two new strategic alliances with IT Consol, a prominent Mexican IT consultancy, and Synapsis, one of the largest IT providers in South America.

The new partnership between Cyco Software and IT Consol - Central America's largest channel partner of MRO Software, a leading developer of maintenance management solutions - will expand the IT Consol capabilities and allow its clients to maximise the advantages of both the Cyco Software flagship solution Cyco AutoManager Meridian and the MRO solution Maximo.

Both Cyco AutoManager Meridian and Maximo have been successfully implemented and integrated in many projects where collaboration between the engineering and maintenance departments is required.

In Chile, Synapsis is no stranger to Cyco Software solutions and has in the past worked closely with the existing Cyco Software Chilean partner, Microgeo, to successfully implement Cyco AutoManager Meridian in client projects.

"As a leading systems integrator in Latin America, it is key for Synapsis to integrate world class systems that allow our consultants to concentrate on the process improvement aspects of the project, with the different features and functionality that the integrated solutions bring to the table," explains Synapsis general manager, Claudio Guzman.

This agreement formally establishes the Latin American IT company as an official implementer of Cyco Software solutions for companies in the Spanish-speaking countries of the region.

We look forward to continue using Cyco AutoManager Meridian in new projects for our existing customers or with new clients, as we have done previously with great success," continues Mr Guzman.

The impressive Synapsis portfolio includes the implementation of Cyco AutoManager Meridian in companies such as Chilectra, the largest provider of electrical energy in Chile; Chilquinta, an electricity distribution company in the Valparaiso Region and Ingendesa, an engineering company subsidiary of Endesa Chile that provides consultancy and engineering services.

Synapsis is currently developing a Cyco AutoManager Meridian project with Peruvian company Edelnor, which distributes 22.6% of the country's electricity.
