New appointment at Datateam Publishing

Maidstone based b2b media owner, Datateam Publishing, is delighted to announce the appointment of Andrew Castle to the Senior Management Team, to concentrate on the industrial magazine portfolio

Assuming overall responsibility for the company's business development activities, whilst working closely with its existing team of Publication Managers and Editors, this new role will help ensure Datateam's continued growth and success, through the introduction of a host of new products and support services.

Andrew joins the company from IML Group, where for the past 14 years he headed up the events division, specialising in regional exhibitions, technical conferences and industry awards ceremonies.

Latterly he was responsible for the launch and development of the HazardEx suite of products, targeting the specialist 'hazardous area' sector of industry.

Commenting on his appointment, Andrew said, "Having spent the past 20 years working in the industrial publishing and events arena, I am looking forward to using that experience to help further develop an already well established and extremely progressive media business.

There are many new and exciting challenges awaiting b2b publishers over the next few years, and I believe with its current portfolio and appetite for growth, Datateam is well placed to take maximum advantage of the opportunities available".

Initially concentrating on the newly acquired 'industrial portfolio', Andrew and his team will have an open brief to evaluate and develop the entire suite of Datateam publications, through organic growth, acquisition, product launch and joint ventures.
