The DSL association with the latest embedded technology continues with their aggressively priced panel PCs to suit many industry sectors.

In particular, they claim that their new APC-3x11 and APC-3x12 represent the best value for money currently available.

The APC-3x11 provides exceptional performance, up to 2.8GHz Pentium 4/1Gb DDR, yet remains one of the lowest cost Panel PCs available in the UK.

Designed for industrial use, the unit has a NEMA4/IP65 rated front panel and display options of 12.1/15/17inches with the option of a resistive touchscreen.

The APC-3x12 offers a very similar range of functionality to the developer, but for the first time enables a fully fanless solution using the latest Pentium M 1.7Ghz (Celeron M 1.5GHz optional), coupled with a maximum of 1GB DDR RAM for outstanding performance.

The use of a 12V DC power supply and with near silent operation, makes it perfect for automotive and industrial environments where a mains connection is impractical.

A choice of either CompactFlash or 2.5inch HDD permits either a desktop OS (i.e XP Pro), or for a truly embedded, non-mechanical system, XP Embedded (free custom image creation for new projects), or any other x86 operating system.

Both units are ideal for use as a PC based interactive display or process controller, and due to their low cost and operating temperature (0C to 50C) they are suitable for use in an ever increasing number of potential environments.
