USB data acquisition modules cut costs
by over 50%
Two new additions to the Data Translation ECONseries of low-cost USB modules are designed to cut costs per channel by over 50% for applications requiring higher numbers of input channels

Based on the popular DT 9812-10V design, the DT 9813-10V and DT 9814-10V were developed for customers seeking higher analogue input channel count modules at an extremely low cost per channel.
Taking the DT 9812-10V as the benchmark, prices and price per channel are as follows.
DT 9812-10V; GBP245 or GBP30.63 per input channel.
DT 9813-10V; GBP305 or GBP19.06 per input channel.
DT 9814-10V; GBP345 or GBP14.30 per input channel.
All modules offer.
* 12-bit resolution for A/D and D/A precision measurements.
* 50 kS/s throughput rate.
* Bipolar input range of +/- 10V for maximum flexibility.
* High input impedance.
The DT 9813-10V and DT 9814-10V ship with the GO! Application, providing mini-instruments for your PC.
Signal connections are made directly to the modules built-in screw terminals and plug into the USB port on any PC.
This means that they are a truly portable data acquisition solution.
For more advanced applications, the ECONseries modules can be used with DT Measure Foundry, the Data Translation easy to use test and measurement application builder.
It can also be used with an extensive range of software tools available from Data Translation, these software packages can either be downloaded from the Data Translation website or are available on CD.
The DT 9813 and DT 9814 bring the total number of models in the low-cost ECONseries to 9, covering a range of input voltages and available inputs and outputs.
