The DSA utilises best-in-class components coupled with a direct drive, flange, belt gear or planetary gearhead to suit the application.
Kollmorgen AKM servo motors take up half the space and weigh up to 40% less than comparable motors of the same torque.
Robust Thomson linear actuators and Micron gearheads are designed for continuous reliable service, reducing maintenance costs.
Compact Kollmorgen Servostar drives save space and are easily configured over an RS232 connection using PC-based software.
The drives PID parameters can be tuned automatically, further reducing set up time.
DSAs are available for stroke lengths (1.5 to 10 m), and speeds from 0.05 to 3.2 m/s.
