Danaher Motion combined servomotors/gearheads guarantee short installation and testing times together with high torque and optimum performance since the two modules are so perfectly matched

Danaher Motion, the specialist in drive and control technology, is launching a new series of combined servomotors/gearheads which guarantee short installation and testing times together with optimum performance since the two modules are so perfectly matched In addition, the new Danaher Motion series offer the particularly high torques and optimised precision that have been the continuing hallmarks of AKM gear motors

This latest range of gear motors combines AKM servomotors with the tried and tested 'True' planetary gearheads which along with a variety of other features make them suitable for the most challenging applications.

The extensive range of, highly dynamic, high speed AKM solutions available from Danaher Motion, boasts one of the highest torque densities on the market.

The gear motors also have a special cogging and distortion-reducing electromagnetic design.

Customers have a standard choice of over 14 feedback options for the resolver, SFD (smart feedback device), commutation encoder and absolute sine encoder.

The standard motors conform to all essential international installation standards, including European ones, with customised designs available on request.

Danaher Motion also offers an unusually wide range of 'True' planetary gearheads.

The high level torsion-proof gearheads are available in housings of 40 to 220 mm and with transmission ratios of between 1:1 and 500:1.

Thanks to the helical toothed design, optimised values can be achieved in load-bearing capability, smooth running, torque and precision.

The gearhead backlash throughout the service life is under 4 minutes of arc thanks to the hardened, non-wearing toothed wheels.

'True' planetary gearheads have lifetime lubrication, are completely maintenance-free and possess a non-rusting, highly durable, hard-wearing steel housing for use in challenging environments.
