Deacom has released a new version of the Deacom software system.
The new version utilises a SQL Server or Oracle Database.
The new release will greatly enhance the scaleability and data integrity of the system.
Jim Cunningham of Reading Bakery Systems, a manufacturer of large scale production bakery equipment, led the efforts of their internal beta test of the new software.
"We are very excited about the new opportunities and robustness the new Deacom version provides us.
Since we first installed the Deacom system in 1999 our company has grown quite a bit and this software will help us to manage and continue our growth in the future".
According to Dave Evers, a software developer for Deacom, the new version is just one of many projects underway at Deacom.
"We are constantly developing and enhancing the software.
The client server release really opens a lot of doors for us for new functionality.
The next few years will be very exciting in this industry and we feel that we are well positioned to take advantage of emerging technology".
