These training courses are designed for automation companies, process and manufacturing engineers and others who are considering, or have a remit, to deliver machine vision technology with their automation projects.
Scorpion is a new generation of Machine Vision technology that exploits today's low cost but powerful Windows based PCs.
Scorpion can be used in just about any machine vision scenario and has advantages over traditionally expensive MV technologies in that very low cost components can be integrated using standard USB, firewire or other interface drivers recognised by the Windows OS.
Attendees to the course will also get the opportunity to see the new Scorpion based Sony SmartCam with Windows XP and Scorpion Embedded.
For those that can't afford 2 days away from their workplace, DISL also runs a series of half day machine vision seminars.
The next scheduled dates are 13th April, 16th May and 14th of June 2006.
