Cooling or heating of free flowing solids
Dimple-t is a specialist in the clean and economical cooling of free flowing solids: the solids flow between the vertical water cooled plates - or with hot water the unit is a heater
Dimple-t is a specialist in the clean and economical cooling of free flowing solids.
The Dimple-t Solids Cooler technology is based on using inflated type heat exchanger plates assembled in a so-called 'platebank', thus forming vertical flow channels with a 10 -30 mm plate spacing.
The heat exchanger always operates at its best when full of product.
The total mass of the product flows between the water cooled plates, having a residence time of between 5 and 15 minutes.
This ensures an even temperature at the exit of the cooler.
The Dimple-t Solids Cooler is used for sugar, fertiliser, detergent, polymer and various chemicals.
It can also be used as a pre-heater, for example for grains.
