Helping food manufacturers comply with HACCP regulations is a new seminar for food and drink manufacturers from the British Retail Consortium in conjunction with the British Compressed Air Society

A new code of practice designed to help food manufacturers comply with Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) regulations was recently introduced by the British Retail Consortium (BRC) in conjunction with the British Compressed Air Society (BCAS) The code sets out recommendations that cover all aspects of compressed air quality including humidity and microbiological contamination in line with levels specified by ISO 8573.1, the international standard for air quality

BCAS member, domnick hunter, is a leading manufacturer of filtration, purification and gas generation solutions and is holding a free seminar for food and drink manufacturers.

The seminar will guide food and drink manufacturers and processors through the newly introduced code of practice.

It will also provide recommendations for the installation and maintenance of a cost effective compressed air purification system.

In addition the seminar will cover the European Industrial Gas Association (EIGA) Specification for Food Grade Nitrogen and explain the benefits of nitrogen generators, which can give substantial cost savings when it comes to Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP).

The seminar takes place on 5th October at the Nottingham Gateway hotel.
