Tetratex Release PPS Needlefelt is suitable for Pulse Jet filtration systems.
It has a continuous operating range of up to 180C and a short peak operating temperature of 200C.
Tetratex Release PPS Needlefelt is laminated with Tetratex Release - a highly permeable membrane which acts as a primary dust cake and is suitable for use where dust particles are primarily larger than 5 microns.
Manufactured from PTFE Fluropolymer Resin, the membrane is a chemically inert material that virtually eliminates concerns regarding filter contamination.
When employed in the appropriate environment and application Tetratex Release maintains performance and provides optimum airflow at a reduced pressure drop, resulting in extended bag life and energy savings.
As a worldwide expert in the manufacture of expanded mircoporous PTFE membranes, films and laminates, Donaldson Membranes invests heavily in research to create products for a wide cross-section of markets.
The four efficiencies of Donaldson Membranes Tetratex Microporous ePTFE membrane filter media: Tetratex Release, Tetratex, Tetratex High Efficiency and Tetratex Ultra High Efficiency, are explained on the website, with case studies illustrating how these high performance laminates supply superior dust cake release, low pressure drop, higher air flow, and high efficiency.
