Donaldson Membranes is gearing up for the chemical market with the launch of a new brochure produced specifically for customers requiring high-performance filter media solutions

With 20 years of experience of Tetratex Membrane ePTFE technology, Donaldson Membranes has developed its products for chemical applications, in close co-operation with its customers As a result the Donaldson Membranes portfolio comprises products which can increase collection efficiencies, reduce energy consumption and reduce environmental emissions - three of the biggest challenges facing the chemical industry today

The "Serving the Chemicals Industry" brochure lists the features and benefits of Tetratex High Performance ePTFE membranes and the types of applications in which they are employed, including: calcining; milling; kilns; dryers; micronising; classifying; and venting.

Examples are provided with case study references.

The brochure also describes the benefits of each of the four efficiency levels of Tetratex ePTFE membranes - Tetratex Release; Tetratex; Tetratex High Efficiency Membrane; and Tetratex Ultra High Efficiency Membrane - and advises the appropriate substrates to be used with each, with a full temperature range available up to 260C.

Donaldson Membranes has a comprehensive range of media for filters operating with bags or pleated cartridge elements and the brochure is designed to provide a simple yet informative guide to employing filtration media for chemical applications.
