A DSDM Consortium product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Sep 7, 2006

A new publicly available version of DSDM project delivery framework 4.2 is now available for processing organisations and process project managers who are not members of the DSDM Consortium

A new publicly available version of DSDM project delivery framework 4.2 is now available for processing organisations and process project managers who are not members of the DSDM Consortium.

This is the first time this has been offered to non-members and the move is part of an overall strategy to broaden the appeal and acceptance of the DSDM project delivery framework.

This Public Version is designed for those wishing to find out about the DSDM framework so they can start to adopt its principles.

It is available through the DSDM Consortium website, where it is also possible to buy white papers, HTML manuals and document templates for incorporation into DSDM delivery projects.

However, the DSDM Consortium has also underlined that only companies that have joined the Consortium, as either Licensed Resellers or Accredited Training Organisations, can use DSDM with their clients or offer DSDM products and services.

DSDM Consortium membership brings additional benefits including free copies of the Version 4.2 manual for intranet use and unrestricted access to the most up-to-date information and leadership papers.

Free document templates come as part of the package and members get an automatic discount on all DSDM products and services.

For full details, contact the DSDM Consortium or visit the website.

DSDM is an independent project delivery framework based on best practice, common-sense and practical experience.

It serves the real and immediate needs of modern business by guaranteeing delivery on a precise date under pressure from tight timescales.

Mechanisms within the framework assist with budget control and its agile nature makes it possible to cope with rapid change and complex situations.

The DSDM Consortium, based in the UK, administers and licences the delivery framework in order to protect the intellectual property rights of the specialists from many different fields who have already made contributions, and who continue to help evolve the framework.
