For the second year, DuPont will sponsor the regional Health and Safety Shows, located in the South at Sandown Park, Esher, and in the North at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton

DuPont protective clothing solution experts will also be taking part in the seminar programme, speaking on topics of headline importance:.
* Protection against electric arc: The imminent introduction of an IEC standard for garments, updated test methods for types of arcs and the introduction of a revised European Standard to protect against heat and flame could affect many organisations whose employees are at risk of burn injury from any electric arc.
FR protective clothing specialist Elaina Harvey will discuss what the changes in legislation will mean for end-users and protective garment manufacturers.
* Protective coveralls - selection and use: Ian Samson, European Sales and Training Specialist for DuPont Personal Protection, has expert knowledge of limited-use protective garments such as those made of DuPont Tyvek, DuPont Tychem and DuPont Proshield.
He will discuss best practice in the selection of limited use protective garments, and once selected, how a protective garment must be put on (donned) and removed (doffed) to avoid the potential for cross-contamination of hazardous substances.
The Southern event will take place at Sandown Park, Esher, on 26th -27th February.
The Northern event will take place at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton, on 8th - 9th October 2008.
