DC range of oil-free compressors and vacuum pumps
DC compressors and vacuum pumps are now available from Durr Technik in 12, 24, 48, 72 and 110 Voltages, up to 10 bar, with an output from 30 to 180 l/min
They are available in a range of standard sizes with airflow rates between 38 l/min and 78 l/min, pressures to 7 bar.
The models of the KK15 series are available with single, three-phase and DC motors.
Oxford Cryosystems has found that the best and most effective way to produce a laminar outer gas stream for the Cryostream is to use dry air.
The AD51 Dry Air Unit that contains the KK15 Durr compressor produces air that is dried by two drying columns.
Most important of all for Oxford Cryosystems, when choosing their compressor supplier, was that the unit had to be as silent running as possible.
The Durr oil free compressors are manufactured to the tightest tolerances to assure smooth running, producing noise low noise levels of 59 dBA, and 52 dBA when installed into the AD51 enclosure.
Richard Glazer, Managing Director at Oxford Cryosystems, comments "The new Durr Technik compressor means we can offer our customers a reliable, quieter and improved unit.
Noise and performance is very important to our users and I feel we have made a good decision implementing the use of this compressor".
Other benefits enjoyed by Oxford Cryosytems with the Durr unit include cooler running, resulting from the twin fan design of the KK15 unit, which also uses less power.
The standard Oxford Cryosytems cabinet needed no modifications to accept the Durr compressor.
Durr Technik features reduce the whole life costs of their oil free compressor range.
