New oil-free piston compressors from Durr
The "Marathon" series, designed to meet the optimum performance and technical standards requested by users, supplies oil free and maintenance free compressed air with reliability and long service life
The compressor is driven with a 110 VDC motor, powered from a battery.
To protect the compressor from coal dust the machine is installed in a powder-coated metal housing.
Apart from the standard filter a further micro filter is installed to achieve the required quality of air.
Condensed water is taken out of the system with a dryer, cooler and receiver that ensures trouble free functioning of the system.
The requirements were very hard: the equipment must be suitable for operation from -40C up to 70C at a relative humidity up to 90%, with 100 % reliable operation.
The oilfree compressors have to be absolutely maintenance-free.
The compact design enabled Durr to build the final unit to fit the specified position.
In order to maintain safety standards only self extinguishing and halogen-free materials are used.
