The Durr Technik KK 15 'wobble piston' series air compressor meets the performance and technical design standards required by Oxford Cryosystems for their new AD51 Dry Air Unit
These small compressors from Durr Technik are compact and power-packed.
They offer a reliable air supply which is independent from the compressed air system and are at the same time virtually maintenance free and continuous running.
The compressors (single-phase) deliver 65 litres/min oil-free compressed air at 0bar.
The two cylinder models produce double the delivery rate, and generate a pressure max of 10bar.
Importantly, they offer the lowest life cycle costs over the life of the unit.
You can specify, and due to their compact design, they can be easily 'packaged' into a system even where there is very little space for the compressor.
These oil-free compressors are designed for 100% duty cycle at 7bar and an ambient temperature to 55C.
Motors are available in protection class IP00 or IP 54 dependant on the model selected.
And as a bonus, the oil-free technology not only guarantees high functionality and reliability, but is at the same time environmentally friendly.
The key advantage of oil-free compressed air is that nozzles and valves are able to operate correctly without oil contamination, making time consuming maintenance for oil changes and services no longer necessary.
Durr Technik, the specialists for oil-free piston compressors and vacuum pumps, will shortly be introducing a DC version and a vacuum pump in the KK40 range.
