Dust Extraction (International) Limited has completed the design and installation of a centralised vacuum cleaning system for Jaguar Cars Coventry plant
The project is just one example of the Dust Extraction provision of cost effective dust control solutions to industry across the globe.
The total value of the Dust Extraction project for Alstec Systems Technology is worth more than GBP 500,000.
The CVC plant provision for the station consists of an LT2725WD product handling tanker vehicle, which handles both wet and dry products, as well as several sets of pipework systems installed at nine satellite areas of the plant.

Each of the systems terminates in single connections positioned at ground level for connection to the tanker vehicle by means of a flexible link hose.
A total of 2.25 kilometres of pipework was supplied, together with 200 off 80 millimetre diameter self-sealing hose connection points.
The pipework systems provide localised vacuum cleaning to the Ho Ping power station stacker reclaimers, transfer towers, enclosed belt conveyors and a silo penthouse, which is located above two coal storage silos.
The use of a self-contained mobile tanker, maximises the cost-effectiveness of vacuum cleaning at the station, allowing the vehicle to be driven to individual systems as required, and connected via its flexible link to enable cleaning to begin.
All of the vehicle power requirements are provided internally, making it totally self-contained yet fully mobile.
In addition, the dust extraction provision for the Ho Ping project involves a number of Dust Extraction specialist Dust 'X' DFP and CV pulse jet filter units.
Six DFP VH 32/4kw flat pad venting filters were supplied as silo and tripper venting units with a further seven DFP VH 20/4kw installed to provide venting for the coal bunkers themselves.
Two further Dust 'X' CV tubular bag pulse jet filter units, a CV 10 x 18 3XL/2 x 18.5kw and a CV 8 x 13 2XL/18.Skw, have been supplied to provide dust extraction to the crusher house and conveyor transfer points, with the collected product being returned back into the plant.
Dust Extraction also designed, manufactured and supplied the heavy duty interconnecting ductwork between the various dust extraction points within the crusher and conveyor house along with several of their Dust 'X' CV filter units.
