Davy Process Technology announces that the Saudi Formaldehyde Chemical Company has selected the DPT methylamines and dimethylformamide process technologies for its new dimethylformamide project.
Located in Al-Jubail, Saudi Arabia the plant will produce 50,000 mtpa of methylamines and 60,000 mtpa of dimethylformamide.
Basic engineering for this project is underway in the DPT London office.
Davy Process Technology has a global business in petrochemicals technology development and process technology licensing.
The company has headquarters in London, and a Technology Centre in Stockton-on-Tees.
It owns a range of proprietary process technologies such as methanol, gas conversion technologies, butanediol, natural detergent alcohols, oxo alcohols, industrial amines, ethyl acetate and fertilisers.
