easyFairs, the leading international organiser of time and cost-effective trade shows, will organise future editions of MAINTEC, in partnership with Conference Communication
easyFairs, the leading international organiser of time and cost-effective trade shows, including a growing maintenance portfolio, will organise future editions of MAINTEC in partnership with Conference Communication.
The next event will take place at the NEC, Birmingham, on 11-13 March 2008, as already scheduled.
David Willson, Managing Director of Conference Communication commented, "We are very proud to have made MAINTEC the UK's leading maintenance and asset management event.
MAINTEC has gone from strength to strength, and in 2007 there were a record 170 companies exhibiting.
With its experience of organising maintenance and industrial technology events across Europe, easyFairs will help MAINTEC and its exhibitors - the cream of the UK maintenance industry - to get to the next level, with a true showcase for British maintenance excellence and a platform for cross-border ideas exchange.
We look forward to working with easyFairs during the transition phase and beyond as a business partner".
Peter Heath, Managing Director of easyFairs UK said: "We will be delighted to organise easyFairs MAINTEC 2008, which will follow the same highly successful formula as in previous years, plus we will also offer exhibitors the additional option of easyFairs all-inclusive stand modules.
I believe this will be a very attractive option for engineering SMEs, including many who have not yet exhibited at the event".
Heath added that the further involvement of Conference Communication would be critical to ensure continuity and growth: "David Willson and his team have a close working relationship with easyFairs, and all parties appreciate that the synergies of the Maintenance and Engineering magazine, its website, and the show must be maintained into the future".
The easyFairs 2007-2008 portfolio of maintenance and asset management events includes the flagship pan-European event, 'easyFairs Maintenance' in Brussels and 'Euromaintenance 2008', together with shows in Antwerp, Holland, Germany, Sweden and Switzerland.
In addition, easyFairs also organises shows specifically targeted at property and asset management and renovation.
All of them include learnShops, an innovative forum for exhibitors to present new technologies and to exchange ideas with visitors.
"A number of MAINTEC exhibitors have already registered their interest in taking their offerings into new markets with easyFairs, realising that easyFairs MAINTEC is a potential showcase for UK engineering excellence," said Heath: "The easyFairs network offers a great opportunity for British maintenance and asset management companies to build partnerships and win business abroad in Europe's industrial hotspots".
